Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara national reserve
On the 1st day of the safari you are to transfer to Masai Mara national reserve upon your arrival in Nairobi, on your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport you will be picked up by a representative of Focus East Africa tours. Your safari driver will give you a short safari briefing then embark on your journey to the incredible Masai Mara national reserve, on your way you will have an en-route visit at the Great Rift Valley for sightseeing and taking beautiful pictures. Upon your arrival in Masai Mara national reserve you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the evening you will go for an evening game drive. On the evening game drive look out for animals such as wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, lions, leopards, elephants and man more with a help of a spot light. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 2 and 3: Day 2 and 3: watching the wildebeest migration on a game drive
Day 2 and 3 of the 4 days Masai Mara wildebeest safari to spend these 2 days in Masai Mara national reserve enjoying sights of the wildebeest migration and other animals. On these two days you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and transfer to the park for a morning game drive, on the gave drive you will watch herds of wildebeests, zebras and Thomson gazelles crossing Mara river. You will also spot many other animals such as lions, cheetahs, antelopes, elands, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, warthogs and many more. At lunch you will either have picnic lunch or drive back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for another game drive experience for more sights of animals, the beautiful landscape and numerous bird species. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 4: transfer back to Nairobi
On the 4th of 4 days Masai Mara wildebeest safari you are to transfer back to Nairobi, after early morning breakfast, you will pack your luggage, meet your safari driver and checkout of your lodge. With an en-route morning game drive game drive you will say goodbyes to Masai Mara national reserve and embark on a drive heading to Nairobi. When you arrive in Nairobi, you will have lunch and then be dropped off on Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your departure flight back home.
