Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Rwanda to Bwindi National Park
Day 1 of the 6 days Bwindi National Park via Rwanda and Lake Nakuru National Park Safari you will link up with our tour guide in Kigali at 9am and together you head to south western Uganda to Bwindi National Park where you will arrive in the afternoon. You will have lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure as you prepare for the next day’s trekking experience.
Later you will have dinner and a night rest at your accommodation
Day 2: Bwindi National Park
Day 2 of the 6 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking & Lake Nakuru Wildlife Safari from Kigali you will be up early have breakfast and then head to the park headquarters for a briefing on mountain gorilla trekking before you enter the forest to look for the mountain gorillas. You will be led by a trekking ranger on your trek and the entire trekking experience will take up 6 or 7 hours and you will spend one hour with the mountain gorillas.
After the trekking in the late afternoon you will head back to your accommodation for a late lunch and after head out for a one hour community tour learn and interact with the people that live around Bwindi National Park.
After you will retire and head back to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 3: Rwanda – Nairobi
Day 3 of the 6 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking & Lake Nakuru Wildlife Safari from Kigali you will be up early have breakfast and after breakfast set off for Rwanda where you will arrive in Kigali in the early afternoon. You will have lunch and after lunch head to the airport to connect to Nairobi in Kenya. You will be in Nairobi in the evening and you will check into your accommodation, refresh, have dinner and a night rest.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
Day 4 of the 6 days Bwindi National Park via Rwanda and Lake Nakuru National Park Safari you will be up early have breakfast and after breakfast you will link up with our Kenyan tour guide and toghether you will head north west to lake Nakuru National Park.
You will be in Nakuru in between the midmorning and the afternoon; you will have lunch and after lunch go out for an afternoon game drive to enjoy the different animals in the park.
After the game drive you will retire to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park
Day 5 of the 6 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking & Lake Nakuru Wildlife Safari you will be up early to have breakfast and after breakfast, you will head out to the park for a game drive and bird watching spree. You will have the game drive for most of the morning and then have lunch and after lunch go out bird watching on Lake Nakuru to see the numerous birds that make their life on the lake including the famous Flamingos.
After this whole day experience, you will head back to your accommodation where you will have dinner and a night rest.
Day 6: Nairobi
Day 6 of the 6 days Bwindi National Park via Rwanda and Lake Nakuru National Park Safari you will be up early have breakfast and after breakfast you will head to Nairobi where you catch a flight back home. You will have lunch en route and the tour guide will drop you at the international airport.
