Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Lake Naivasha
Day 1 of the 6 days Lake Naivasha, Samburu Game Reserve and Mt Kenya National Park you will connect with our guide in Nairobi at 8am and together you will head to Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in the midmorning. You will relax as you view the birds flying around this fresh water lake and take in the beautiful flora around the lake. You will have lunch and after lunch you will go for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha’s fresh waters to enjoy the lake and view numerous water birds and water animals.
The boat ride will end in the evening and then you will head to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
Day 2 of the 6 days Lake Naivasha, Samburu Game Reserve and Mt Kenya National Park you will be up early have breakfast, check out of your accommodation and then head to Samburu Game Reserve. This is quite a journey so you will in samburu in the late afternoon and at Samburu, you will check into your accommodation, relax, have dinner and night rest. You will have lunch en route and you will have a chance to view several scenic places and nature sites like the Thomson falls on your way to the game reserve.
Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve
Day 3 of the 6 days Lake Naivasha, Samburu Game Reserve and Mt Kenya National Park you will be up early, have breakfast and after breakfast head out to the semi-arid plains of the game reserve for a full day game drive to view several animal species that make their life in the reserve. The animals you are sure to find in the reserve include the Grevy’s zebra, the Gerenuk, Somali ostrich, cheetahs, buffalos and many more. This full day game drive will take you up to the Ewaso Nyiro River and if you are lucky you will spot some crocodiles.
You will have a picnic lunch on this day and later in the evening when the game drive is done you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 4: Mount Kenya National Park
Day 4 of the 6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari you will be up early have breakfast after check out of your accommodation and then to Mount Kenya National Park. At Mount Kenya National Park, you will relax then have lunch and after lunch you will head to the park for an afternoon game drive to see the different animals in the park.
After the game drive you will head to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 5: Mount Kenya National Park
Day 5 of the 6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari you will be up really early have breakfast, pack picnic lunch and some more snacks and fluids and then head out to the mountain for a whole day trekking experience of one of the trails of the high mountain. You will trek this trail enjoying the beautiful scenery, viewing birds and animals, sighting unique tree species on the mountain slopes as well as enjoying the adventurous trek.
You will have your lunch (picnic lunch) during a break in the trek and the trek will end in the evening, you will then head to your accommodation to freshen up, have dinner, and rest.
Day 6: Departure
Day 6 of the 6 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari you will be up at leisure have breakfast or brunch and after you will check out of your accommodation and embark on your journey to Nairobi.
In Nairobi, the tour guide will drop you at a location of your choice and that will be the end of the 6 days Lake Naivasha, Samburu Game Reserve and Mt Kenya National Park.
