7 Days Uganda safari : This is an impressive Uganda adventure safari that takes you to the three most interesting destinations in Uganda that is Murchison falls national park, Kibale forest national the primate Capital and lastly to Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will encounter the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Day 1: Pick up and drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Drive to Murchison falls national park
On the 1st day , depending on your location, Our tour guide will pick you up from Entebbe international airport and brief you about the safari after start the journey to Murchison falls national park which is the largest national park in Uganda.
On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking where after you will continue the journey with another stopover in Masindi town for lunch.
After taking lunch in Masindi. you will proceed to Murchison falls national park. Upon arrival, you will have spectacular views of the park as you’re heading to the lodge for checking in to relax, as you’re preparing for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up early in the morning, you will be served with breakfast and after your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive experience with stunning views of landscapes, a variety of animals like giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, lions, leopards, warthogs, Jackson’s hartebeest among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch
After lunch you will go for an exciting boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will be able to view animals like elephants, antelopes, buffaloes which will be drinking water along the shores, view hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view aquatic bird species. After the exciting boat cruise, you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale national park
On the 3rd day of your tour, have breakfast at the lodge and check out of the lodge. After meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Kibale forest national park in western Uganda.
On your way to Kibale National Park, you will have an enroute stop over for lunch and proceed with the journey. Upon arrival in Kibale national park, you will continue to check into the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and meet up your safari guide who will drive you to the Kanyanchu park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing.
After the briefing about the rules and regulations, you will be allocated an experienced park guide and start trekking in the forest in search of chimpanzees which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located since, they move from one area to another in search of food.
During trekking you will spot other primates like L’Hoest’s monkeys, red tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, views of different bird species among others. Once the chimpanzees are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their environment. After the one-hour encounter with the chimpanzees you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head out for an interesting swamp walk in Bigodi sanctuary where you will spot a variety of bird species, several primates among others. After the guided nature walk you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the 5th day of your safari, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide who will drive you to Bwindi impenetrable national park with stunning views on the way. Upon arrival in Bwindi impenetrable national park, you will check into the lodge relax as you are preparing dinner and stay overnight.
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Wake up early in the morning, you will be served with and also you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide who will drive you to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek plus a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with different gorilla trekking trails.
During trekking you will spot other primate species, different bird species, plants among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat. After the one-hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and stay overnight.
Day 7: Departure to Kampala
This is the last day of your safari, wake up in the morning and enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala.
On the way you will have en-route lunch in Mbarara town and then continue the journey with another stopover at the Equator where you will take beautiful pictures and buy craft souvenirs.
After proceed to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
