Coolmont guesthouse is a 3.5 star mid -range accommodation found in Nakuru, 2km from Nakuru Field study center close to lake Nakuru National Park Kenya Region. One can be at the hotel by road transport which takes approximately 2-3 hour’s drive from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru national park, and 30 minutes to fly from Nairobi to the close Nakuru airport then few minutes to be transferred to the hotel. Coolmont Guesthouse Nakuru consists of 5 spacious and comfortable rooms that accommodates maximum of 15 people overlooking the beautiful views of Gardens and designed mainly for family travellers or group. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with modern high standard of private en suite facilities of clean flushing toilets, hot and cold showers with Bath tabs, mosquito nets ,kitchenette, flat screen Tvs, Air cooler, reading tables ,white duvets and pillows, free bottled water , telephones, free toiletries , chairs in the rooms and many other facilities .
Each room has large sitting areas and terraces with comfortable sofa seats where guests sit as they relax and share stories. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable king and queen sized beds with clean beddings and ceiling fans. Rooms are in different sizes with single beds for individual ,double bed /twin beds and family designs with different costs ranging from 300$ per night and above . Note that in High season the rate goes slightly high than in Low season

Lake Nakuru is situated in the southern part of Kenya and it is the rift valley soda lake covering 1,754 m above the sea level. The lake is shallow and surrounded by wooden and busy grass land and protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lodge is in Nakuru County on Nakuru- Nairobi highway. The park is small covering the total area of 188 kilo meters squared. The park offers a variety number of animalslike; Impalas, antelopes, Buffaloes, wathrogs, waterbucks, white rhinos, Girraffes, Leopard, enlands, baboon, lions ,Zebra, Wild dogs etc and over 450 different bird species like; Flamingos , starling birds, White pelican etc.
The park is famous for huge number of attracting flamingos and being the soda lake.
