Park fees at Lake Nakuru National park: Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most visited game parks in Kenya. Located in central Kenya in Nakuru County, North West of Kenyan capital Nairobi, the park is a haven of birds, hub of mammals, and a collection of scenic views and landscapes.
Lake Nakuru National Park houses the famous Lake Nakuru, a rift valley soda lake with deep blue alkaline waters and an abundance of blue-green algae. This is the habitat for most of the birds that are found in the park with the most popular birds being the pink flamingos that have taken over the lake’s shores coloring them pink.
The flamingos are actually the birds that made the park famous because climate issues started arising Lake Nakuru used to host millions and millions of flamingos and it used to be the one-stop place for flamingos. Though the flamingo numbers have currently lowered, you can still find thousands of flamingos on the lake.
Lake Nakuru National Park apart from the lake also has a unique combination of flora that includes bushy grasslands, acacia woodlands and euphoria forest. This unique vegetation harbours numerous birds and over 50 mammal species that make their life in park.
Lake Nakuru National Park has a very unique and beautiful landscape with out of this world raised ridges that make spectacular view points for the birdlife and wildlife in the park and the surrounding.

All camping activities attract a reservation and cancellation fee of 7500 Kshs that is non-refundable.
The fees listed above are determined by Kenya wildlife services; thus Kenya Wildlife Services reserves the right to amend the fees at any one point.
Services that are not listed in the table above like Viewpoint site fees are determined by the Lake Nakuru National park management, so you should consult with your tour operator about the fees.
Adults here refer to all persons above the age of 18 and children refer to persons below the age of 18 and above the age of 3.
The fees stated above apply per day thus they are valid for 24 hours only within the park.
Foreigners herein refer to persons that are not nationals of Kenya and East Africa and do not stay in Kenya.
Foreign residents refer to persons that are not nationals of Kenya and East Africa but are currently residing in Kenya.
Locals and East Africans refer to persons of Kenyan nationality and East African Nationality.
East African countries include Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
