Park Fees in Lake Nakuru National Park 2022 : Lake Nakuru National Park was created in 1961 around Lake Nakuru, near the town of Nakuru and is best known for its thousands, even millions, of flamingos; that is greater and lesser flamingos that nest along its shores. There is also bird Watching Safaris; some of the species are Hildebrandt’s, greater blue-eared starling, blue-billed teal, grey-crested helmet shrike ,crab-plover, Egyptian goose, and among others  and also the animal species, that includes cape buffalo, African wild dog, zebra ,lion, leopard ,rare Rothschild giraffe and among others. The surface of the shallow of the lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually mass of pink. Age of the tourists.

Children-tourists from 3 years and below the age of 18 years old.

Adult -individuals from the age of 18 years and above.

Status of the tourists.

Citizens. Tourists residing in Kenya while on Kenya Wildlife Safaris and have valid national identity cards or passports, citizens from east African community member countries such as Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi are also categorized as citizens. These tourists have to be in possession of valid national identity cards or passport to prove their citizenship in their respective countries.

Residents. Tourists of other nationalities residing and working in Kenya, these tourists are supposed to be in possession of proper documents issued by the government of Kenya.

Non- residents. Tourists residing outside of Kenya and east African community member countries.

Students. Tourists visiting Lake Nakuru national park with a purpose of learning and research, according to Kenya Wild life Service, students are supposed to come from a recognized education institution and 23 years of age as a limit age. Students are required to send a notice to the KWS office prior to their day of visiting the park and the status of students excludes those on personally organized visit to Lake Nakuru national park. Lake Nakuru national Park fees are stipulated by Kenya wildlife services which is the governing board of the park, these fees are paid to the offices of the KWS in the park.

Best time to visit Lake Nakuru national park.

Generally the best time to visit Lake Nakuru national park depends on the activities you would like to do at the park, those that are favored by dry weather and those that are favored by the wet season. Dry seasons; June to October and, December to March and the wet seasons are November, April, May.

How to get to Lake Nakura national park.

Lake Nakuru National Park is always accessed in two different ways namely; the road and the air means to reach in the park.

By road, its commonly used route into the park through the main gate.4km from Nakuru town center, it’s also possible to enter the park from the main Nairobi road at lanet gate. This takes you around four and a half hours to reach inside the park.

By air/flight, this is mostly done by domestic flight these flights are available to this destination from airports in Nairobi like Jomo Kenyatta international port to Naishi airstrip in the southern part of the national park.
