Sweetwaters Serena Camp is a luxury accommodation facility offering luxurious tented cam accommodation to visitors on a Kenya safari to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and other neighboring Kenya safari destinations. Sweetwaters Serena Camp is located with the Ol Pejeta Conservancy one of the stunning conservancies in Kenya and one of the homes to big Five (Lions, Elephants, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopards). The camp is framed by picturesque views of Mount Kenya and awe-inspiring natural beauty of the surroundings.
Sweetwaters Serena Camp is one of the most exclusive tented safari camp in Kenya perched within the 1110,000 acre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the camp is situated on the Laikipia plains about 17 kilometers from Nanyuki and 217 kilometers from Nairobi. Transferring to Sweetwaters Serena Camp by road takes about 3-4 hours drive from Nairobi and using air, it is a flight of about 1 hours of flight and 17 minutes of drive from Nanyuki airstrip.

Sweetwaters Serena Camp is offers a tented safari camp retreat which is an elegant experience amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, tents are tucked inside the landscaped groups and accessible via winding stone pathways.
Sweetwaters Serena Camp has a total of 56 stylishly appointed tents categorized as standard wing and the deluxe Morani Wing. These tents are designed with charming thatched roofs, solid roofs, canvas interiors and they all feature en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water and flushing WCs and electricity.
Some of the tents at Sweetwaters Serena Camp are on raised platforms with private balconies and the rest of the tents included private verandas, all of the tents have safari chairs and tables, mosquito nets, extra beds and cots are provided upon request. Also evening hot water bottles are provided. Amenities at the tents include free Wi-Fi, a coffee/tea making station, plush bathrobes and slippers.

Standard Wing Tents at Sweetwaters Serena Camp are spacious tents with a combination of traditional ambiance of a safari camp with the comforts of a home, the tents feature either a king bed or two twin beds and boost views of the water holes.
Amenities in Standard Wing Tent include a bathroom with a one-hand washbasin, a WC and a shower with a shower curtain

MORANI WING TENT
Morani Wing Tents at the Camp feature 17 deluxe double, twin and triple tents all boosting views of Mount Kenya. One of the tents is specially adapted for guests with mobility concerns, the Morani wing tents feature e-suite bathrooms with a two – hand washbasin, a WC and a shower with a glass door.

THE RHINO ROOM
The Rhino room at the Camp features a delightful and welcoming atmosphere dining area located in what was once the ranch manager’s house. The elegant restaurant serves delicious international cuisine and boosts remarkable views of the water hole through the floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast at The Rhino room is served as buffet-style breakfast which includes a range of global dishes, a full English breakfast is also served. Lunch at the Rhino room is served as a buffet with fresh meats, diary items and produce.
The Rhino room serves table d’hôte dinner menus featuring a salad buffet, a soup, an entrée, dessert, cheese and biscuits and fine Kenyan tea or coffee
Note: Vegetarian options are also served at the Rhino room.
The cuisines at the Rhino room are sourced directly from the communities situated around the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, meals are often complemented with a glass of wine or beer, a fresh-squeezed juice or a herbal infusion.
The Rhino room’s opening hours
Breakfast hours: 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Lunch hours: 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Dinner hours: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
THE WATER HOLE BAR
The water hole bar at the Camp is a cozy spot with a fire place perfect for relaxing with friends after an exhilarating safari, the bar is open for 24 hours a day and boosts stunning views of the waterhole enabling you see abundant wildlife surrounding the waterhole while enjoying a drink.
The water Hole Bar is open from 09:00 am to 12:00 am daily.
